Fix IPTV buffering and freezing
Most IPTV buffering is fixed in five minutes: check your connection speed, switch weak Wi-Fi for Ethernet, raise the app's buffer setting and restart your device — in that order. If it persists on a strong connection, the problem is usually server-side: contact your provider.
Work through these in order
- Test your speed — you need roughly 10 Mbps stable for Full HD and 25 Mbps for 4K. Test on the device that's buffering, not your phone.
- Prefer Ethernet — a cable beats Wi-Fi every time. If you must use Wi-Fi, move the device closer to the router or add a repeater.
- Raise the app buffer — in your player's settings, increase the buffer to 3–10 seconds; it smooths out small network dips.
- Restart properly — power-cycle the streaming device AND the router (30 seconds off), not just the app.
- Try another channel/quality — if only one stream stutters, it's that feed; report it and use the alternative feed meanwhile.
Still buffering?
If a strong, wired connection still buffers across many channels, the issue is server-side. With us, message support on WhatsApp — we check your line, switch you to a better server if needed, and stay with you until it's smooth. That's what a reliable IPTV subscription should include.
Good to know
- Peak hours (match nights) expose weak providers — proper servers hold up.
- Old app versions cause stutters; update your player occasionally.
- VPNs can help if your ISP throttles streaming — or slow things down if the VPN server is far. Test both.
